Music is so important to me. Lyrics are so liberating. I have tied so many events in my life to music. That is an important piece to my story. Music is my love language.
The most liberating song I’ve ever sung. I couldn’t love this song more. Singing this makes me feel like someone unlocked handcuffs I was in, or took the weight of the world off my shoulders
The whole Rolling Up the Welcome Mat EP got me through my divorce. I don’t know what I would’ve done without it. Today I listen to it and feel free, and it’s the most remarkable feeling in the world. I’m no longer sad when I hear this music. I remember my feelings, but I feel free. And it makes me feel so powerful knowing I am where I am on my journey.
I couldn’t love this song more. The lyrics really say it all to me.
I haven’t stopped listening to this since We lost Tybalt. I miss him more every day
I was watching Harry Potter, and there was a scene where he’s looking into this mirror that shows you what you deeply desire. So I asked myself, “what do you think that mirror would show you”? I thought about it… I think it would show me as a whole person. I always tear myself apart or don’t feel like something about me is correct or that I’m not good enough. Therefore I don’t see myself as a whole person. I’d see myself as an entire person who truly values herself and sees her worth.
We all go through different tides in our lives but they’re all beautiful in their own ways
LOOOOOOOVEEEE Camila Cabello. I haven’t stopped listening to this since it came out yesterday! I love the message of this song. To me, it’s saying even if life takes you places you didn’t want to be. Make the most of it.
No matter what you’re going through someone around you has dealt with it or is going through it. We all have different seasons in our lives. Be aware of other people’s seasons! We’re all human.
This song is the most relatable song to me. We all struggle, and we need to normalize asking for help. We need to normalize self-care. If we don’t, we become numb and resort to other things to help us feel (for me, it’s food).
